Planned Closure for Redevelopment

Dear Parent/Carer, Please note that we will close for Easter Holidays on Friday 30th March. The planned works will commence on Tuesday 3rd April, undertaken by Mossford Construction Company. In order to facilitate sufficient time for the redevelopment to take place it will be necessary to close the school for a further week. In agreement with the local Authority Nell Gwynn will be closed

Baby Massage Class at Rye Oak

Rye Oak Children’s Centre will be hosting a 5 Week Baby Massage Class Starting Thursday 3rd May 2018 from 1.30pm –2.30pm. Autism Insight

Growing Week

We are starting our ‘Growing Week’ at Nell Gwynn beginning week Mon 26th March. Throughout that week we are inviting in families to support with planting. Children will have the opportunity to pot their own plants and these will eventually go home with them to be nurtured in their family environment.

Sports Relief 2018

On Friday 23rd March we will be raising money for Sports Relief. Children are invited to wear comfortable clothing to exercise in and we welcome any parents/carers who might be able to contribute to the day by leading exercise sessions. Dear parents/carers, Just a reminder that you can purchase a durable Nell Gwynn book bag for transportation of lending books to and from school. This encourages children to borrow books and supports them in learning to care for books. Book bags can be purchased from the Reception Area at a cost of £3.50.
